Allsports Coaches Coaching Academy are a not for profit social enterprise providing training to military veterans and former emergency service workers to become sports coaches and mentors  HELPING CHILDREN RECOVER THEIR CHILDHOOD by delivering  GREAT COACHING CHANGING LIVES

We have opportunities for volunteers with experience in social media marketing and general administration.

Candidates would be home based and hours would be flexible.

Arleston Community Centre in Wellington is a trustee and volunteer led facility in the heart of the community of Arleston. We hire space to a wide range of community groups and organisations, along with individuals looking to hire event space.

We are looking for more volunteers to support with Booking & Administration of the centre.  We are completely self-funding and income from our hirers allows us to succeed.

To visit and provide companionship and emotional support to someone who has had a terminal diagnosis and their loved ones. 

The support can include helping them to find further support, taking them out to give them a break from their four walls, providing some practical support to help them with tasks they are struggling with e.g. putting a duvet cover on; making phone calls etc., providing respite support to give the carer a break from their caring role.

A minimum of 3 hours per week with a commitment of at least 12 months

We need to make sure that all of our volunteers have the information and training they need to carry out their roles safely and effectively. You’ll have an induction when you start and we’ll make sure you get any training the role needs, with refreshers when necessary. 

Events Assistants Volunteering Role opportunities to help support with annual Overdale Christmas Fayre event taking place on Saturday 14th December 2024.

Event is organised by Lawley and Overdale Parish Council.

A volunteer briefing, when necessary, will be held before the event, either on the day or via a virtual meeting. Otherwise, information will be passed on via your group leader prior to the event.
